The Basic Law remained in existence because it serves as the constitutional framework for governing Hong Kong. It provides the legal foundation for the "one country, two systems" principle, which allows Hong Kong to maintain a high degree of autonomy and its own legal system. The Basic Law also outlines the rights and freedoms of the people of Hong Kong, as well as the structure of the government and the relationship with the central government in Beijing. As a result, the Basic Law is essential for maintaining the unique status of Hong Kong within China. **

The question of God's existence is a deeply personal and philosophical one, and the likelihood of God's existence or non-existence ultimately depends on an individual's beliefs, experiences, and worldview. For some, the complexity and beauty of the universe, as well as personal experiences of faith and spirituality, may lead them to believe in the existence of a higher power. Others may find the lack of empirical evidence for God's existence to be more compelling, leading them to lean towards non-existence. Ultimately, the question of God's existence is one that may not have a definitive answer and is subject to individual interpretation and belief. **

Existence is not inherently pain, as it encompasses a wide range of experiences, emotions, and sensations. Pain is just one aspect of life that can be felt alongside joy, love, and fulfillment. While pain is a natural part of the human experience, it is not the only defining factor of existence. It is important to acknowledge and address pain, but also to recognize the beauty and positivity that can be found in life. **

Man cannot bring about his own existence through his own actions because his existence is ultimately dependent on factors beyond his control, such as the circumstances of his birth and the actions of others. Additionally, man cannot control the basic conditions of his further existence, such as the natural environment, the passage of time, and the actions of other individuals and societies. These factors are often influenced by forces that are beyond the individual's power, making it impossible for man to solely determine his own existence and the conditions of his further existence. **

The question of whether our existence is meaningless is a deeply philosophical one that has been debated for centuries. Some may argue that our existence is inherently meaningless, as we are just a small part of the vast universe with no predetermined purpose. Others may find meaning in creating their own purpose, relationships, and experiences, giving their existence significance. Ultimately, the answer to this question may vary depending on individual beliefs, values, and perspectives. **

The question of why existence exists is a deeply philosophical and metaphysical one that has puzzled humanity for centuries. Some believe that existence simply is, without a need for a reason or explanation. Others argue that existence exists as a result of a higher power or divine force. Ultimately, the answer to why existence exists may be beyond our human comprehension, and it is a question that may never have a definitive answer. **
